Axiome Pay is a crypto card platform offering several virtual and physical prepaid cards rather than a single standardized product. The current lineup includes Visa and Mastercard options with different issuance prices, transaction limits and payment features, allowing users to choose a card based on whether they need online payments, mobile wallets, higher limits or ATM withdrawals.
Cards are funded in USD using cryptocurrency. Axiome Pay primarily supports USDT for card top-ups, while its documentation also lists USDC through selected networks. Once crypto is used to recharge a card, the resulting card balance operates as a conventional prepaid balance rather than remaining in a self-custodial wallet.
The current lineup ranges from the $20 Virtual Visa Lite to the $250 Physical Visa Ultimate. Between them are the $50 Virtual Mastercard Pro, $60 Virtual Visa Pro and $100 Physical Visa Pro. Selected Visa cards are provided through Reap, while the specific issuer and conditions can differ between card products.
Fees and status system
There is no monthly card fee, but Axiome Pay charges for both card issuance and balance top-ups.
The standard Blue status carries a 4% top-up fee. Holding AXP increases the user's status and reduces this fee: Silver is 3%, Gold 2.6%, Black 1.9%, while Platinum can reduce it to between 1% and 1.7% depending on the card. The minimum top-up is currently $20.
Transaction fees also vary by card. Virtual Mastercard Pro, for example, charges $0.25 per payment. Some Visa products use tiered fixed charges based on transaction size, while Virtual Visa Lite charges $0.10 for transactions below $1.
Axiome Pay also pays rewards in AXP. The rate currently ranges from 0.05 AXP per dollar spent at Blue status to 0.3 AXP at Platinum. AXP held in the user's wallet or supplied to the AXP/AXM liquidity pool can count toward status qualification.
Limits and cash withdrawals
Limits depend heavily on the selected card. Virtual Mastercard Pro and Physical Visa Pro currently list limits of $20,000 per transaction, $250,000 per day and $1 million per month.
Other products are marketed without predefined spending limits, although this does not mean transactions are guaranteed to be approved. Issuer risk controls and compliance restrictions still apply.
ATM withdrawals are available on physical cards. Physical Visa Pro currently lists a $1,500 single and daily withdrawal limit and $15,000 monthly limit, with a 2% fee and a $1 minimum. Physical Visa Ultimate lists a 3% ATM fee with a $1 minimum and is marketed without a fixed withdrawal limit.
Mobile payments and card management
Mobile wallet support depends on the card. Virtual Mastercard Pro supports Apple Pay and Google Pay, while Virtual Visa Pro is currently advertised with Google Pay support.
A single account can normally hold up to five virtual cards and one physical card at the same time. Axiome Pay also allows remaining funds from a closed card to be moved to another card, although a 3% fee applies when a card is cancelled or when remaining funds are transferred after a card BIN is closed.
KYC is required for card issuance. Axiome Pay does not currently publish a simple residency list covering every card product, so actual eligibility should be checked during onboarding because different cards can rely on different issuers and restrictions.
