Is the Solflare Card currently available?

No. Solflare suspended both virtual and physical cards on July 28, 2026, after its issuing partner, Kulipa, stopped supporting the program. The company is developing a replacement with a new provider, but its relaunch date has not been confirmed.

How does the Solflare Card work?

The original Solflare Card allowed users to spend USDC directly from their self-custodial Solana wallets. Unlike prepaid crypto cards, it did not require funds to be transferred into a separate custodial balance. Cryptocurrency remained in the user's wallet until a payment was processed. The replacement program's final operating model has not been fully disclosed.

Will the new Solflare Card offer cashback and Apple Pay?

Solflare has announced plans to introduce cashback, Apple Pay, Google Pay and higher spending limits through its replacement card program. However, the company has not confirmed cashback percentages, fees, eligibility conditions or a definitive launch date.
