About Avvio Card

Avvio is a self-custodial financial app that combines crypto wallets with USD, EUR, GBP and AED account infrastructure, cross-border transfers and local payouts. A Visa card has also been presented as part of the wider Avvio account, although the card currently has much less public documentation than the rest of the platform.

The underlying Avvio wallet is non-custodial. Users control their assets through Turnkey-based key infrastructure, while Avvio states that it cannot access, freeze or move crypto held in the wallet without user authorization.

Card status

Avvio Card has previously been presented as a virtual Visa linked to the same account used for stablecoins and fiat payment services. Apple Pay support and a 0% Avvio FX markup have also been advertised for the card.

However, the current Avvio website does not provide a dedicated public card application page or a complete card fee schedule. The latest Avvio terms focus on wallets, virtual accounts and payments, while noting that card services, where available, are provided through licensed third-party partners.

For that reason, availability should be confirmed directly inside Avvio before relying on previously published card conditions.

Funding and account structure

Avvio supports self-custodial crypto wallets across Bitcoin, Ethereum/EVM and Solana infrastructure. Users can also fund supported services with stablecoins such as USDC and access fiat payment rails through Avvio’s external partners.

The card is intended to use the broader Avvio account balance rather than operate as an independent crypto wallet. Exact supported card assets and conversion mechanics have not yet been documented in a current public card-specific terms page.

Fees and availability

Avvio has previously advertised no additional FX markup for card transactions, but a complete current card pricing schedule covering issuance, ATM withdrawals, limits and other charges is not publicly available.

Card availability is also jurisdiction-dependent and subject to the requirements of Avvio’s regulated payment partners. KYC should be expected for card and fiat-account services even though the underlying crypto wallet itself is non-custodial.

How to get the Avvio Card

  1. Create an Avvio account.

  2. Complete the required identity verification for payment services.

  3. Fund the account through supported fiat or stablecoin methods.

  4. Check whether card issuance is available in the app for your jurisdiction.

  5. Review the current card fees and conditions before activation.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to common questions about Avvio Card.

Still have a question?
Is Avvio Card available now?

Avvio itself is operational, but the current public website does not provide a clear standalone application flow or updated terms specifically for Avvio Card. Card availability should therefore be checked directly inside the Avvio app.

Is Avvio Card non-custodial?

The underlying Avvio crypto wallet is non-custodial, and Avvio states that users retain control of their assets. Card and fiat payment services, however, rely on licensed third-party financial partners and are subject to separate terms.

What are the Avvio Card fees?

Avvio has previously advertised a 0% FX markup for the card, but it currently does not publish a complete card-specific fee schedule covering issuance, ATM withdrawals and other charges. Users should check the applicable pricing in the app before activating the card.
