About Okx Card

OKX Card is a crypto-funded debit card connected directly to an OKX Pay account. It allows users to spend supported stablecoins for everyday purchases without manually converting them into fiat before each transaction.

Depending on the region, the card operates on the Visa or Mastercard network. The current product is virtual-only, so OKX does not issue a physical version. Users can manage the card directly through the OKX app and use it for online and contactless payments where supported.

The card primarily works with stablecoins such as USDG, USDC and USDT, although supported assets vary by jurisdiction. When a purchase is made, the required amount is automatically converted into the settlement currency.

Background

OKX launched the current generation of OKX Card in early 2026 as part of the broader OKX Pay ecosystem. The product is designed to connect stablecoin balances with traditional card payments without requiring users to withdraw funds to a bank account first.

In the European Economic Area, OKX Card launched in January 2026 and allows users to spend supported stablecoins through the Mastercard network. OKX has since expanded the card to additional markets, although availability, supported assets, rewards and card networks differ by region.

The card is integrated with OKX Pay, which acts as the balance used for payments. Users can hold supported stablecoins in their Pay account and spend them directly through the card.

Terms and fees

OKX currently charges no card issuance fee, monthly fee, annual fee or inactivity fee for its standard virtual card.

There is also no additional OKX foreign exchange fee for card purchases. When a transaction takes place in another currency, the applicable card network exchange rate is used.

Supported stablecoins are automatically converted when necessary. Depending on the market and asset, a conversion spread may apply even when the stated conversion fee itself is 0%. The exact pricing can therefore vary by region.

The card does not have one universal published daily or per-transaction spending limit. In many supported markets, users can spend as long as their OKX Pay balance is sufficient. OKX still applies automated risk and velocity controls, so unusually large or abnormal transactions may be declined.

Because the current OKX Card is virtual-only, ATM withdrawals are generally not one of its core supported functions.

Key features

The main feature of OKX Card is direct spending from OKX Pay. Users do not need to manually sell their stablecoins or transfer money to a separate prepaid card balance before making a purchase.

The card supports assets including USDG, USDC and USDT in selected markets. Availability differs by jurisdiction, so not every supported stablecoin is necessarily available to every user.

OKX also offers a tiered cashback program on eligible purchases funded with USDG. The standard non-VIP cashback rate is currently 2%, while higher OKX VIP levels can receive higher rates.

Depending on the market, cashback tiers can reach:

  • Non-VIP — 2%;

  • VIP 1 — 4%;

  • VIP 2 — 4.5%;

  • VIP 3 — 5%;

  • VIP 4+ — up to 10%.

Monthly cashback limits vary considerably by region. In the EEA, for example, the standard non-VIP tier currently has a €50 monthly cashback cap, while higher VIP tiers can receive significantly larger limits.

Cashback is generally credited in USDG to the user's OKX Pay account. Certain merchant categories, including money transfers and other cash-like transactions, are excluded from rewards.

Another notable feature is that users can keep supported stablecoins in OKX Pay while still using the same balance for everyday spending. OKX has also promoted yield or rewards on eligible balances in some regions, allowing users to maintain stablecoin exposure until funds are actually spent.

Eligibility

OKX Card is available only in selected jurisdictions. Availability can differ significantly between regions, and having access to the OKX exchange does not automatically mean that the Card feature is supported.

Users must have an eligible OKX account and complete the required identity verification before applying.

In supported European markets, the card is available across much of the European Economic Area. OKX has also introduced versions of the product in markets such as Brazil and Australia, with separate local terms and conditions.

The easiest way to confirm eligibility is through the OKX app. If the Card section is available for the account, the user can proceed with the application.

How to get the card

  1. Create an OKX account or sign in to an existing account.

  2. Complete the required identity verification.

  3. Activate OKX Pay if it is available in your region.

  4. Open the Card section in the OKX app and apply for OKX Card.

  5. Once approved, activate the virtual card.

  6. Add supported stablecoins such as USDG, USDC or USDT to your OKX Pay balance.

  7. Add the card to a supported mobile wallet if available in your region and use it for online or contactless purchases.

There is currently no physical OKX Card to order.
