Bit2Me Card is a Mastercard debit card integrated directly with the Bit2Me account. Users can link either a supported crypto wallet, a euro balance or selected assets held in Bit2Me Earn and choose which balance should be used for card payments.
The linked wallet can be changed from the Bit2Me app at any time. When a crypto balance is selected, the required amount is converted into euros at the time of the transaction. Payments from the euro wallet do not require this conversion step.
Both virtual and physical cards are available. The virtual card can be issued directly from the account and supports Apple Pay and Google Pay. The physical version adds NFC payments and ATM withdrawals.
Fees and limits
Virtual card issuance is free and there is no monthly maintenance fee. The physical card normally costs €20, but the price falls as the user's Space Center level increases and becomes free from Level 5.
Payments funded from the euro wallet carry no Bit2Me transaction fee. Payments from a linked crypto wallet currently carry a 0.95% transaction fee.
Currency charges depend on where the payment is made. Payments in euros within the Eurozone have no additional fee, non-euro payments within the SEPA area carry a 1.75% fee, and payments in other currencies worldwide carry a 2% fee.
The standard maximum card spending limit is €2,500 per transaction and per day, €20,000 per month and €200,000 per year. Bit2Me can review higher limits individually through its card provider.
ATM withdrawals are available with the physical card. Domestic withdrawals can be free from Bit2Me's side, while international euro-area withdrawals currently cost €2.50. Outside the Eurozone, the fee is €0.55 plus 1% of the amount, subject to a €0.75 minimum. ATM operators may add their own charges.
Cashback and Space Center
Bit2Me Card cashback is tied to Space Center, the platform's account-level system. The standard rate starts at 0% for Level 0 and rises through 0.25%, 0.5%, 1%, 2%, 3% and 5% to a maximum of 7% at Level 7.
Monthly cashback caps also increase with the user's level. The highest published cap is currently €300 per month at Level 7.
Space Center levels are based on activity across the broader Bit2Me ecosystem rather than card spending alone, so the highest cashback rate should not be treated as the default return for every cardholder.
Availability and custody
Bit2Me Card is currently available to eligible users with tax residence in the European Economic Area. Availability of the physical card can be narrower in some EEA countries, where only the virtual version may be offered.
KYC is mandatory because the card is linked to a verified Bit2Me account. Pecunpay, an electronic money institution supervised by the Bank of Spain, issues and manages the payment card.
The card uses custodial Bit2Me balances rather than a self-custodial wallet. Crypto selected for spending remains within the Bit2Me account and is converted into euros when the card transaction is processed.
