AnomaPay Card is the upcoming card product from AnomaPay, a non-custodial payment application built on Anoma. Unlike most crypto cards, its main focus is not the number of supported assets or cashback mechanics, but transaction privacy: AnomaPay is designed to break the public link between a user's wallet, balances and subsequent payments.
The underlying AnomaPay platform is already live. Users can connect an existing wallet or create an account with a passkey, deposit supported assets into a shielded pool and make private transfers without exposing the sender, recipient, asset and amount through normal public blockchain history. Accounts remain non-custodial.
Card status and features
The card itself is still marked as Coming soon. AnomaPay currently accepts registrations for a waitlist but has not opened general card issuance.
The company describes the card as a confidential crypto card with multi-asset and multichain support. Rewards, referral bonuses and yield on balances are also planned, although the final mechanics and eligibility conditions have not yet been published.
AnomaPay currently supports assets including USDC, USDT, USDT0, ETH, WBTC, XAN and several network-specific assets across Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Arbitrum, Monad and Stable. This does not necessarily mean every asset will be available for card spending at launch, since AnomaPay has not yet published a final card-specific asset list.
Privacy model
Privacy is the defining part of the product. Assets deposited into AnomaPay enter its shielded payment infrastructure, where transfers can be executed without publicly exposing the relationship between the user's original wallet and subsequent transactions.
AnomaPay uses zero-knowledge proofs for this process. Public blockchain observers can see interactions with the protocol's contracts, but Anoma states that they cannot identify the sender, receiver, token or amount of a shielded transfer from those interactions.
This should not be confused with complete anonymity from the service infrastructure. AnomaPay states that its proving infrastructure temporarily receives the information required to generate a proof, including sender, receiver, asset and amount, and that the service implements compliance checks under applicable KYC and AML requirements.
Fees and availability
AnomaPay has not yet published a final fee schedule for the card. The card page currently refers only to “ultra low fees”, without specifying issuance costs, spending fees, FX charges, ATM pricing or card limits.
The final payment network, card issuer, physical-card availability and supported jurisdictions have also not been publicly detailed. These points should therefore be treated as unknown until AnomaPay releases the card program terms.
